There will be no Maths in Motion clubs next week (Monday and Thursday) and no sewing club or girls' football club on Tuesday due to parents' evenings and other school events. Thank you for your understanding. ---- Thank you to everyone who attended our Open Morning on Wednesday. Many visitors shared some wonderful comments about our school: "Brilliant morning. I got a good feeling about the school. Your children are amazing! A wonderful school - such polite and confident children. A very positive tour of the school - great to see such positive and engaged children." Our 'All the World's a Stage' Arts Week starts on Monday 16th October. Please see the letters section under news and events for more information.

Administration of Medicine

Administration of Medicine

If a child needs to take medicine during the day, parents are welcome to come to the school to administer the dose. If this is not possible, a designated member of staff will supervise the child taking the medicine but only if the medicine is recevied in its original packaging with a letter from the parent containing the following information:

  1. The child’s name.
  2. The name of the medicine.
  3. The dosage and the timing of its administration.
  4. The smallest possible amount should be sent each day

Medicines should be handed to the Welfare Assistant for safe keeping. Individual arrangements are made for immediate access to inhalers.

The school cannot accept responsibility for the administration of medicine where the timing of the dose is crucial or where technical or medical knowledge is required.

“ Chalfont St Peter Church of England School is an outstanding, effective and distinctive Church of England school which makes excellent provision for all its learners. The strong Christian ethos of care and concern is embedded in the day to day life of this popular school.”
