Welcome to our School

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Chalfont St Peter Church of England Academy. I hope that the following information will help to create a picture of our school by explaining our organisation and giving you a glimpse into the life of our busy community. The Mission Statement refers to our desire to create a school that is challenging and fun, and to achieve this, it is important that together we try to help your child settle into the routine of the school as smoothly and as quickly as possible. The future education of our children is very much a joint responsibility between school and home and I hope that this introduction will be the beginning of a long and happy association with the school.

Prospective parents of the school are welcome to visit, and are invited to telephone the school secretary to make an appointment.

At Chalfont St Peter Church of England Academy, we encourage and foster in our children a love of the world in which we live. Our school strives to ensure that learning and friendships extend beyond our local community to our global neighbours. Over many years, we have worked with schools around the world and have developed very strong links with partner schools in France, Australia and India.

Using global themes, we have developed the curriculum to provide exciting experiences that promote our children’s understanding of different cultures, religions and beliefs. Through out-of-classroom experiences and the use of technology, we hope that this enables our children to be effective citizens of the future. Now, as an International School, we have the opportunity to stretch the boundaries even further.
